110mm Tank or Pond Liner Flanged connector

Tank/Liner Connector  

Tank Fitting Instructions

  1. Mark Tank for drilling using loose flange.

  2. Drill screw holes in tank using 6.5mm or ¼" drill.

  3. Cut out centre hole allowing clearance for pipe size.

  4. Apply 2 x 6mm - ¼" wide annular beads of sealant one inside, one outside of screw holes in socket flange.

  5. Fit to tank, aligning screw holes.

  6. Align loose flange, fit screws, and tighten. (Do Not Overtighten)

  7. Clean off excess sealant.
     

Liner Fitting Instructions

  1. Mark liner using loose flange.

  2. Pierce liner for screw holes using bradawl or similar.

  3. Apply 2 x 6mm wide beads of sealant on one inside, one outside of screw holes in socket flange.

  4. Fit to liner aligning screw holes with piercing in liner.

  5. Align loose flange, fit screws, and tighten. (Do Not Overtighten)

  6. Cut out pipe hole using a sharp knife.

  7. Clean off excess sealant.

110mm Bottom mid water feed remove debris ponds

Dual Purpose ( Bottom Drain & Mid-Water Feed 

Please Note: If used as a Mid-Water Feed, the Cover must only be used as a "push-on".

When used with a Bottom Drain the retaining screws must be used. 

​

Instructions

  1. Using a 5mm drill bit, drill only 2 holes (opposite each other) in the drill mark recess(es).​

For 75mm, 90mm, 82mm and 3" use Inner Drilling Marks (in dark blue)

Position of Screws - Mid Water Bottom Drain Cover

For  110mm and 4" use Outer Drilling Marks (in light blue)

90 Degree Bottom Drain

RTF-DPR-50-63 - Directional Pond Return

Directional Pond Return (DPR)

Fitting Instructions

The Directional Pond Return is available in separate imperial and metric versions.

​

The 1½" imperial and 50mm metric fittings are used as supplied. For 2" imperial or 63mm metric pipe, the smaller socket must be removed along the moulded cutting line using a fine tooth saw.

​

Dry fit and position the fitting before solvent welding the PVC pressure pipe into the rear socket. When installing with GRP, treat the fitting with Microseal T20. For pond liners, install it in the same way as a standard tank liner connector.

RTF-VENTURI-50 - In-line Venturi improve oxygen water ponds

Inline Venturi - 50mm

  1. Mount complete RTF Inline Venturi in pipework between pump & pond (after U.V if fitted)​

  2. Unscrew threaded unions and remove Venturi Body.

  3. Remove both funnels from the rear of the Venturi Body, and re-fit the desired funnel.

  4. Fit Air Intake Tube onto Air Feed Pipe

  5. Re-fit the Venturi Body onto pipework.

  6. Start the pump, and check air is being pulled into the system.

  7. Try alternate funnel to obtain the best results.
     

IMPORTANT

The free end of the Air Intake must be kept above water level (an extension tube can be supplied).

​

Venturi MUST be fitted close to pipework exit into pond. 

Dry fit pipework before testing, if necessary temporarily tape joints. 

Try not to fit bends between Venturi and exit in pond.

Depending on pipework design, pipe run and depth of use, use small funnel up to 1000 gallons per hour, use large funnel 1000 to 2000 gallons per hour.
